Bromley put on a stylish display in their second pre-season game at near neighbours Beckenham notching a four goal win over their Kent League hosts.
The Ravens got off to a good start when on 7mins Gareth Williams found the net with a well placed shot past Nicky Blue. Ali Chaaban went close soon after and Albert Jarrett should have had a penalty after taking the ball past the home keeper before being floored, but the second goal didn’t come until 35 minutes when a Tony Fin corner was headed home by sub Aaron Rhule who had just come on for the injured Jarrett.
Both sides were happy to play at a medium tempo and pass the ball around with Bromley just using it better.
The second half saw Bromley change half the team sub Warren McBean made it 3-0 on 46mins when he turned in Pierre Joseph Dubois cross.
Mike Jones went closebefore Dubois made it 4-0 on 48mins heading home a corner. Jones again went close before McBean grabbed his second sending a sweet lob over Blue on 65 minutes.
TheRavens then eased off and the home side were allowed more possession eventually making it count on 80 minutes when they pulled one back, which was no more than Beckenham deserved for their efforts in a good work out for both sides.
